Thirty...I've been waiting on you!

While some in the twenties cringe at the idea of getting older, I welcomed Thirty with opened arms. Many people have a certain to-do list to accomplish before reaching this milestone. Some feel they should be married, a home owner and have a baby or two. And if that is or was your own goal, that's awesome. But not everyone has placed a timeline on their life accomplishments. I'm a go with the flow kind of gal. I do what makes me happiest. As corny as it may sound, my goal is to be better than I was the day before and to learn from my mistakes. Birthdays are my "New Year." It is a chance for me to go over the last 12 months and reassess my life, priorities and set new personal goals.

I don't really care for the term "30 is the new 20." Boy bye. I had lots of fun in my twenties, however, you could not pay me to be 22 again. I'm grateful for the growth, heartaches, friends made and lostthus far in my life but I'm looking forward to the best times of my life!

I originally planned to travel on my birthday. Alone. But I live in an amazing city, why catch a flight when I can have an incredible staycation and celebrate with loved ones?

I decided to throw a laid back party, a nice kick-back where my friends could unwind and be comfortable. So I booked an incredible suite, the Skyline Terrace Suite, at the MGM Grand and had a very sexy and fun Lingerie Party. I'm happy with my body and comfortable in my skin. 30 doesn't equal old. The party is just getting started!
