When I decide to wear my hair curly, I get SO many compliments. And of course the question, "What do you use on your hair?"
Well, if you are ready to shine with your natural curls, it is very important to moisturize it just as you do with your skin. If your hair is prone to frizz, tangles and dryness, you may want to consider trying a leave-in detangler/conditioner with super slip.
I have a pretty simple regimen:
One: I shampoo with Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Daily Shampoo. I love the smell but most of all, my hair feels clean but not completely stripped of it's natural oils.
Two: After rinsing out the shampoo, I apply plenty of Cholesterol (yes, the creamy yellow stuff), comb it through and let it sit on my hair. If I don't have ANYTHING to do, I let it sit under a plastic cap for over an hour. But, if I don't have much time, I let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then rinse.
Three: I apply Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Daily Treatment (Conditioner), comb it through and massage my scalp, giving the product time to work it's magic. After rinsing, I gently fowl dry my hair.
Finish: I squirt about 5 drops of Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell into my palm. I rub the product all over my hand so as I run my fingers through my hair, there is even distribution. I comb the product through with a wide tooth comb then using my blowdryer with a diffuser to "set" my curls. If I don't use a diffuser, my hair gets bigger and bigger as the day goes on, like most of us with curls.
Again, this is a regimen for MY hair. It works for my length, curl pattern and thickness. Everyone is different!
